Tomato Soup in Vintage Dishes
I love easy recipes–especially ones that are quick! This tomato soup just took five minutes to prep and cook. All the ingredients I already had open in the fridge.
5 Minute Tomato Soup by Sew.Knit.Create
1 can whole tomatoes
1T sour cream
Cooked pasta (leftover) I used rotini but you can use any small-medium sized pasta
Put tomatoes in a pot and smash them with a potato masher. Add sour cream, spices to taste, and sugar. Cook on medium heat until warm.
Serve with toasted bread (I had french bread on hand)
A super easy one pot meal–a great way to use those leftovers!
And yes the plates are vintage. They were my great-grandmothers who passed them on to my grandmother who used them only when guests were over and she served soup.
